I started as a Student Audiologist in 1981, gaining experience working within the NHS whilst studying for 5 years in the Coventry/Birmingham area. Having qualified, I then moved to Leicester Royal Infirmary where I worked my way up to Chief Audiologist by 1990. In 1992 I became self employed, contracting my services to Hospitals, Schools for the Deaf and Government Bodies such as the War Pensions Directorate and the Metropolitan Police Service. I sat my dispensing exams in 2005, and now work primarily in the independent sector offering a home visiting service Monday to Thursday and a clinic at Rugby Osteopathic Centre on a Friday between 10.00am and 2.00pm. The services I can offer are:

  • Thorough Hearing & Tinnitus Assessments
  • Professional Impartial Advice
  • Wide Choice of Hearing Aids and Assistive Listening Devices, with prices starting at £295.00, including a 2 Week trial before you buy on most instruments
  • Repair & Battery Service
  • Custom Made Swim Moulds & Noise Protectors

Being an Independent Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser means that I am not tied to one manufacturer so can choose from a vast array of instruments, depending on an individual's lifestyle and budget. As a member of a National Independent Buying Group I can pass on a significant discount which means that even state of the art technology becomes more affordable.
